When Seungki came to be, he was not aware of the why or how. Or even who. Only that it was chaos. Three people at war with each other, of which he had been a product of. Naked, confused, and afraid, he sits in what soon becomes a crime scene, three people he doesn't even know erased from existence by their own hands.He finds out later, by the woman who takes him in, Chaewon, that these people were essentially his parents, his creators. The woman, who lays on the floor, eyes lifeless and black, was an heiress. She was betrothed to the man who wielded the gun. However, she was found naked, in bed, mid act, with another man.In the midst of all of this, there was lust.And then he existed.Just in time to witness a double murder suicide.He didn't know their names, he never asked. He didn't know what names were. He only knew chaos, confusion, lust, and death. His skin tingled with energy he didn't understand. Chaewon had been a servant to the couple. She had long kept her lady's secret affair to herself. When the police came, she told the story. And then she and Seungki, as she named him, left to find a new place to work and live.He wondered often about his parents. If he could call them that.What other things were part of their life? What was an heiress? He comes to find out this means she has a lot of money. Money he never saw, of course. He didn't have time to even settle in. Perhaps... he realizes, he was uninvited. Was this why this man was so angry? Angry enough to take two lives and then his own? People were complicated.He soon began to realize he was not like Chaewon. She was old, frail, a widow, however smart, who was great at cooking and cleaning. Who listened to his millions of questions. She taught him things his supposed parents never bothered to (of course because they died, horribly) about love, and respect, communication, fairness, and life.However, there was always a wickedness to him. As he lived, he realized it was the very thing that drove the people he called parents to do the things they did. Affairs and murder, of course, were extremes, but lust made people do strange things. Seungki also realized, as he learned, and went to college, and expanded his knowledge, that many confused lust with love.This is how he became a relationship coach. Some called him a therapist, of course. Whatever allowed him to help others. He simply used the lessons that Chaewon shared with him, her wisdom always present. When it came time for Chaewon to pass, Seungki left her calmly in her bed, with flowers, taking what she gave to him, and decided he would carry on her kindness and support of others with his own life.She was more his mother than a caretaker, and he would not let her kindness down. He witnessed many years pass, realizing he did not change. This could be a super power. Then, he realized there are many others like him. Each with unique skills and abilities. His own made life difficult, though.Despite his willingness to help others find love (read: lust) and connect them to others, he often found a trail of broken hearts behind him. Oh how his cheek burned with the force of a thousand slaps. He was always the bad guy. He tried! He really did! Platonic love was easier. But... no one wanted to hear that."You're a son of a bitch!"Well... perhaps one. But not Chaewon."I can't believe you played me!"It wasn't a game! This was life!He needed to sleep with people to live. He had discovered this early on, Chaewon worried for him when he would bring multiple partners home, over and over, and feed off the desire they felt, fuck them until he was full, and then he would discard them."Seungki - you're breaking hearts too quickly. You must slow down. One day... it will cause you trouble."As his cheek burns again, he agrees. It does.But this was the life of a Sin. A lust at that.He does feel care, though, truly. He cares deeply for people, but it never ventures far enough into love for them. He apologizes profusely, and then goes to work as a relationship coach, trying to help others do better in their own love lives. Sometimes it goes well. Other times it's been a horrible mess.Though, nothing like that fateful Valentine's Day in 1979.He hopes he never repeats that again.
